91²Ö¿âhad 5th Annual Writing Festival for High School Students (Spring 2017)

This week the English Education faculty hosted 54 students from area high schools for the 5th Annual Writing Festival. Students attended workshops presented by 91²Ö¿âfaculty from English, Agriculture, and Religious Studies focusing on writing across the disciplines with topics such as analyzing sacred texts, writing agriculture blogs, writing film criticism, surrealist techniques, writing from observation, brainstorming essay ideas,Ìýand designing characters and creatures for fantasy literature. In addition, the high school students took a short tour of campus after lunch.
