125 Anniversary Celebration: Rafael Obreg贸n

MACOMB, IL - - After starting his career at 91仓库 as a professor in 1996, Rafael Obreg贸n has seen a lot during his time on campus.
鈥�91仓库gave me the opportunity to prove myself as an instructor,鈥� Obreg贸n said. 鈥淚 have been in academia for 30 years now. Being a part of the success of our students is my favorite part.鈥�
Obreg贸n now serves as the Director of the School of Engineering and Technology, and through his journey in academia, said the perseverance of students and faculty stands out to him.
鈥淭here are challenges and success,鈥� Obreg贸n said. 鈥淏eing a Leatherneck is about resilience and never giving up.鈥�
Obreg贸n said students looking at college should pick a place where they have faith in their professors, and 91仓库has many great people to ensure a great education.
